West Herts Academy for lady golfers
What is it?
The Academy is a one year programme with the objective of providing a pathway to club membership.
Aimed at ladies who have not played golf before, or those who would like to come back to the game .
Includes tailored coaching as part of the programme.
The Package:
Includes £100 worth of lessons with our Professional.
7 day playing rights on the course.
No joining fee for the Academy.
Reduced joining fee for club membership at the end of 12 months.
Full club social membership privileges.
What’s involved?
Lessons
The club Professional will arrange a bespoke course of lessons to suit each individual - can include group or one-to-one coaching, weekday or weekend - whatever your needs.
Mentor
Each Academy member will be assigned a Mentor who will guide them in the matters of rules, etiquette and format of play.

Playing
Access to play on the course 7 days a week in the afternoons, and all day on Thursday to enable participation in the weekly Ladies’ competitions.
Pathway to membership
At the end of the 12 months, Academy members will be able to move on to full membership, subject to attainment of a satisfactory playing standard and the usual interviews.
What does it cost?
No joining fee for the Academy.
Membership fee of £600 - which includes lesson vouchers to the value of £100.
